A dangerous practice has been identified where persons are using scissor lifts as a means of access, or are exiting the machine whilst elevated. Personnel shall not enter or leave the platform unless in an emergency or when the provisions of Clause 9.4 of AS 2550.10-1994 "Personnel access to and egress from the platform" have been met.
